Extended Interceptor Trim Tab

The extended series of interceptors uses a full deployment of 75mm and is offered in sizes from 750mm width up to 1500mm width. This makes them suitable for boats ranging from around 60 feet up to over 200 feet and can be used both for semi-planing as well as for planing hulls.

The extended series are especially suitable when the space for wider interceptors are limited and additional lift is required for trim or motion control. It is also to be selected when best ride control (ACTIVE – Ride Control System) performance is to be created in semi planning speeds. 

The extended series are available as symetric (HE) versions (servo motor in the centre of the interceptor), ranging from 750mm to 1500mm width.

The extended series are also available as asymmetric (HAE) version (servo motor off centre), ranging from 750mm to 1000mm width.

Both the symetric and asymmetric version interceptors can be custom shaped to meet specific hull shapes such as for instance a specific tunnel shape.

Up to 10 interceptors can be fitted on one hull.

As with all Humphree interceptors, the Extended series are made of corrosion free composit materials and the servo motors are electric, using 12 or 24 Volts DC.
